Our 40 acre lake is stocked with Trout which can be fished with Rod and Reel, The Linville River offers Fly Fishing. You can launch you boat to fish or just enjoy the lake for recreation. There are hiking trails that encircle the lake and dam. We have a very challenging 18 hole Golf Course including a 19th Hole Restaurant that serves up some really good food. Tennis and Pickle Ball are also played here and too many activities and crafts that I can mention or think of here. This is pretty much an adult Summer Camp, it had been said..
We have a wonderful July 4th celebration here with a decorate your own Golf Cart parade, and Fireworks display seen over our lake (a picture of the 2018 event is below). The whole place is dressed up for all the holidays and much of the work is done by our wonderful staff.

Linville Land Harbor is a well established 45 year old RV and home site community in the "High Country" of NC. All sites are FULL HOOK-UP and have 50 amp service, Cable TV, Internet included. There are showers, restrooms and laundry on the premises.
Welcome to our retreat in the very cool mountains of North Carolina.
How high? Elevation 3,640 feet. Where is it exactly? Linville, NC, on route 221, just minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, close to the very popular attraction of Grandfather Mountain. (Latitude 36.03888N Longitude 81.88667 W)
Nearby town for shopping is Newland, 5 miles away.
Larger town of Boone is 22 miles to the Northeast, where you will find Walmart, Publix Supermarket, Lowes Home Improvement, Staples and many of the restaurants you know and love like Crackle Barrel, 5 Guys, Chick Filet, and Wendy's which has become a landmark in Boone.
It is just minutes to the Blue Ridge Parkway from here. A real joy to drive as you can imagine on the Parkway in your car, or... ride your motorcycle on the parkway. I am sure people come here just to drive the BRP, and it is rite here in our back yard. It doesn't get much better than this. Heading North on the parkway to Boone will will take you over the much photographed section of the Blue Ridge Parkway...The Lincove Viaduct which was the last link to be completed on the Blue Ridge. A story all by itself. You are about 20 miles from Boon on the parkway at this point.
In the area there are many hiking trails and very special and easy ones like Linville Falls, to the South about 10 miles accessed from the BRP (Blue Ridge Parkway). You can view the Linville Falls from 6 different places. There is Beacon Heights also on the BRP where RT221 crosses , which is a short hike, but quite rewarding with views of Grandfather Mtn. Grandfather Mountain itself (admission fee required, but you will enjoy this very special place), there are easy to very strenuous trails as high as 6000 ft. The area offers so much to do and see in the summer. There is wonderful skiing season that offers up no less than 4 ski resorts within 20 miles the closest being Sugar Mountain.
What we have to offer you are 2 RV sites located in an Oak and Hemlock forest. All properties are located in Linville Land Harbor (LLH), Golfing is big here, but you don't have to play golf to enjoy this beautiful community of almost 1,500 home sites.
You can swim in the near Olympic-size outdoor pool, which is part of the recreation complex, play tennis, go fly rod fishing in the Linville River or fish from your boat in our 40+ acre lake. There is so much to do it makes this full-featured resort community a destination in itself. Give
